While 3D printing is frequently in the news in the health sector, it is currently rare to see the technology associated with dietary supplements and oral care. That’s why Nourish3D, a UK-based company specializing in 3D printed dietary supplements, has partnered with world-renowned toothpaste company Colgate. The companies hope to combine their expertise and 3D printed dietary supplements with the same ingredients found in Colgate products. The product, called Nutristacks, combines food benefits with oral health features.
3D Dietary Supplements
Nutristacks were developed for oral hygiene care and are designed to be taken with you on the go – to freshen breath, enhance oral protection and more.This product uses3D printing technology, scientific formula, 12 patented technologies, to provide personalized oral and body health solutions. It advertises that “chews nourish you quickly and efficiently as long as you chew them.”
Each 3D printed Nutristack contains 3 key ingredients: arginine (diffuses around the teeth, fuels the good bacteria in the mouth and enhances the body’s natural defenses against tooth decay), xylitol (helps reduce bacteria The resulting production of acid – protects your enamel strength) and calcium (supports healthier oral pH and maintenance of normal teeth).
The chews are currently available in two flavors – Fresh Mint and Lemongrass

Each Nutristacks consists of a total of seven different layers, each 3D printed and composed of different vitamins and nutrients. The two companies behind the project made it clear that Nutristacks is not meant to replace daily brushing, but to bring real added value to oral hygiene, helping users target specific problem areas, similar to using mouthwash but with different applications Scenes.
