WayZada, a Bloomington-based start-up company, has received $20,000 from Elevate Ventures’ Community Creative Fund on December 10, 2021.

. The Community Creativity Fund, in cooperation with Velocities, is supervised by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and obtained through the state’s 21st Century Research and Technology Fund, dedicated to promoting Indiana’s economic growth and innovation.

WayZada is a3D printingA start-up company that uses 3D technology to create a visual exercise schedule, allowing users to display their sports achievements in 3D through outdoor custom interaction methods such as running, biking, or hiking. Robert Henschel said that Elevate’s financial support enabled them to transform the process of converting data into 3D models and printing from a workflow that required a lot of team participation to a powerful self-service process. Users can now use their favorite applications, such as STRAVA, to automate the construction of any sports achievement model without the need for team involvement in the workflow.

In 2020, Adam Ward and Robert Henschel established WayZada in Minnesota.At the time, Ward was manufacturing personal protective equipment for medical staff and had the ability to create3D printingGraphic idea. A few days later, the team established a method to express the athlete’s data and made it tangible through 3D printing. In the spring of 2021, WayZada received a pre-seed investment of US$20,000 from Elevate Ventures through the Elevate Nexus regional promotion competition.
