3YOURMIND received 1.3 million euros in funding to integrate artificial intelligence into the 3D printing platform

3YOURMIND software was established in 2014 to digitize additive manufacturing processes for companies in the United States and Europe. As a new member of the existing end-to-end workflow management platform, Agile MES has been launched, which can realize automated parts and job scheduling.Agile MES also allows OEMs to perform functions such as accurate pricing, document management, automatic order processing and transparent tracking on the production floor. 3YOURMIND believes that adding machine learning to these processes will enable additive manufacturing to “reach the level of automation seen in Industry 4.0.”
In particular, an artificial neural network (ANN) will be added to the 3YOURMIND software to automatically help programming. Peter Schwarz, project manager of the Berlin financial consultant Förderbar who participated in the Pro FIT project, added:“3YOURMIND has proven its innovative strength and efficiency through strong cooperation in the past. We know that they will use new funds to “speed up the adoption of AM.” We are proud to support them in obtaining 1.3 million euros in funding and help 3YOURMIND Further expand its technological leadership.”

In the Pro FIT Berlin project “Smart3D printing”, the 3YOURMIND plan analyzes from the opt-in environment3D printingPart information and platform usage, and evaluate the data to identify coding patterns. It will then be tested to accelerate part selection, production recommendations, scheduling, nesting and overall positioning.
The project started in October 2018 and will continue programming and development work in the next two years, integrating machine learning directly into the 3YOURMIND software suite.
