Compared with other soft materials that can be used for 4D printing, shape memory polymer (SMP) has higher stiffness and is compatible with various printing technologies. Among them, light-curing SMP is compatible with projection light-curing printing technology, and can print SMP structures with complex geometric shapes and high resolution. However, light-curing SMP has great limitations in terms of mechanical properties, which limits its scope of application.
