China3D printingNet September 7th, French personalized medical equipment manufacturer Bone 3D installed Stratasys J750 3D printingMachine to produce full-color multi-material models.
“We need a reliable multi-material3D printingTechnology to produce ultra-precise surgical guides and simulators, we found this accuracy in the Stratasys J750,” said Jérémy Adam, founder and president of Bone 3D.
“Since it was installed, it has completely changed what we can achieve and how fast we can do it; J750 is now at the forefront of our business, whether it is producing highly realistic models or developing models.

Bone 3D and additive manufacturing
Bone 3D was established in 2018 to design and add a new generation of implants, prostheses, splints and plasters for human and veterinary medicine. The company recently purchased the J750 from Stratasys’ French partner CADvision to promote the creation of patient-specific surgical guides and surgical simulators.
“A site visit to this technology allows us to greatly speed up the process in the design and development of medical models,” Adam added. “For example, something designed at 2 pm can be produced and tested in just four hours, which is simply fantastic.
We were pleasantly surprised by the way the printed model was able to faithfully maintain dimensional stability. Their printing distortion is negligible, and reliable, leak-free injection molds can be produced quickly. “

J750 has a palette of more than 360,000 different tones, as well as many material properties, including rigidity, flexibility, opacity and transparency. This allows designers to generate realistic prototypes more efficiently than previous PolyJet systems.According to China3D printingNetwork understanding,Bone 3D
It also aims to use this system to train future surgeons. This will allow simulation of challenging scenarios to test trainees more effectively. “Our goal is to fine-tune the design of the simulator before commercialization throughout France.” Adam continued.
“The Stratasys technology we have now makes me believe that we will achieve this goal.”
