PrinterPrezz and Vertex Manufacturing formed an alliance for the first time in April 2021 to provide customers with a variety of services and support “advanced additive manufacturing of medical equipment.” Six months later, the two companies decided to merge. PrinterPrezz’s Silicon Valley plant and Fremont, California’s design, engineering, and manufacturing center will continue to focus on medical equipment; Vertex Manufacturing will continue to serve the vertical market in Cincinnati, Ohio. Existing certifications include ISO 13485:2016 and SAEAS9100:2016, as well as compliance with ITAR. After the merger, Vertex will also increase PrinterPrezz’s ISO 13485:2016 and “bring significant benefits” to the customer base.
