About Future Office
Dubai3D printingThe office of the future is adjacent to the Dubai World Trade Center, with a construction area of 250 square meters, including activity rooms, offices and halls. The project is held by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), and was developed and designed by Killa Design; during the construction process, China State Construction Middle East, as the general contractor of the project, participated in the entire process from design to construction.
The conceptual design of the future office building is simple and modern, with a futuristic appearance, and is a decentralized building.The entire structure of the building uses a 6-meter-high, 36-meter-long, and 12-meter-wide3D printingMachine and adding concrete printing technology, the construction mode is in China3D printingThe pieces are manufactured and then transported to Dubai, UAE for assembly and assembly. In the entire construction process, the sheet printing took 17 days, and the installation took only 2 days. The follow-up service, interior and landscape took about 3 months. Compared with traditional small-scale buildings, innovative construction technology reduces labor costs by half, minimizes site loss, and helps reduce the traces of the entire project in the environment.
The Office of the Future opened in May 2016 and currently serves as the headquarters of the Dubai Future Foundation, an exhibition space and an incubator for future emerging technologies in the region.
