Core-XY Structure
The Ender-6 utilizes a core-XY motion system in its cube-shaped architecture.
The core-XY mechanism has a bottom-to-top moveable print bed, and utilizes two stepper motors to drive the motion in the X- and Y-axis.
The print head moves in specific directions depending on which way the stepper motor is spinning, greatly reducing vibrations, as well as the weight the printer has to bear during motion. In this way, printing moves at a higher speed without sacrificing quality.
