Self-developed Motherboard with TMC2208
MINGDA Rock 3 Pro equipped with 5 group TMC2208 on the motherboard to control the 5 stepper motors on X axis, Y axis, dual Z axis and extruder.
When the printer working and axis moving, it won’t causes any noise, so make it silent printing.
Filament Run Out Detecor
MINGDA Rock 3 Pro has updated the filament run out detector.
When the filament run out or break, the detecor will sound an alarm and stop printing.
The detetor is 360 degree rotating, follow the direction of the print, which can effectively reduce resistance.
Resume Printing Function
As most printers, MINGDA Rock 3 Pro can resume printing from the last recorded extruder position after suffering unexpected power outages, so that avoid reprinting, saving time and filament.
Babystep for Precision Printing
Babystep is a useful function.
Same as other MINGDA 3D printers, Rock 3 Pro also built-in babystep.
Babystep is a function that you can adjust the distance between the nozzle and build plate when printing.
If the nozzle is too far away from the platform, the layer that come out cannot stick to the platform; if the nozzle is too close to the platform, the layers that come out are flattened.
With the baybystep function, you can touch the icon on the display to control by yourself, so you can effectively improve the printing accuracy.
Belt Tensioner on X and Y Axis
Equipped with a belt tension adjuster on the X and Y axis.
The drive belt may become loose due to long-term use, when the belt become loose, it will affect the printing accuracy.
We specially equipped with a belt tension adjuster on X axis and Y axis, if you found that the belt is loose, you can turn this tensioner to a suitable tension, ensure the printer print appropriately and print a nice model.
3 Steps to Assemble
You only need 3 steps to complete the assembly easily (usually cost 10-15 minutes), please refer to the user manual and video on Youtube.
1. Install the gantry to the base. Align the gantry with the holes and place it on the base, and tighten the screws from the side.
2 Install the extruder.
3 Install the hanger(filament holder)
Make sure you have connected the cable correctly.
Fast Heating
Rock 3 Pro built in 360W branded power supply inside, with the new upgraded firmware, you can heat up to 50℃ in 0.5 minutes.
Usually heat up to 90℃ in 5 minutes
Neat and Safe Cable
You may find some printers which have mess cables connected to the extruder, some cable just covered with nylon mesh and very soft, sometime may afftect the printing process.

Larger Build Volume
The MINGDA Rock 3 Pro has a large build volume 12.6×12.6×15.75 inch print size.
Since the filament detector is above the gantry, it will not prevent the model. you can print models up to 400mm high.
You can print models size up to 320*320*400mm.
